Things you may find out from Googling the people you know They are on multiple Single’s Sites but are happily married I knew that white picket fence was a little over kill! They have a transgender/transsexual fetish I always knew there was something a little strange about him Their Resume from two years ago, doesn’t quite fit what they are doing right now They listen to Christian Talk Radio and post about it Not that there’s anything wrong with Christian talk radio There E...

When Bosses Change, Again DAMN IT Lately it seems like every time I open my email in the morning there is a new mail from someone in the company announcing a new hire. “The explosive growth of our Team has created the opportunity to….” Why don’t they just say what they really mean ... “We aren’t sure what’s going on, so we decided to hire this guy to see if he can figure it out what is, so he in turn can hire someone else to do his job in 6 months and NO , you won’t be see...

As weird as this may sound, I believe that every person that we meet has an important role in our lives. It helps me get through the bull***t that we go through everyday from our Great Loves of our lives beginning and ending to the stupid idiotic guy at the Gas Station that gives me the wrong change every time! "Learn to Count" I have really started to think that each person has something to teach us no matter how much I try and fight it. We learn to love from the people we meet, grow up ...

Fate and Destiny - One Force or Two? Questions always arise when one or the other is mentioned. Can we fight back against our own destiny? Can we truly decide the path we want to take in life? Every once in awhile I wonder whether an apparently pre-established fate can be modified or completely changed. And if we indeed can change fate, how can we demonstrate what we're capable of? Could there be a way to modify the data, which composes the abstract book of life, just as easy as changing ...

True Love Is true love, true unconditional love, as found in our parents and grandparents day, where they met and instantly knew that they were soul mates and have been together for decades, virtually impossible to find in this day and age? Being the hopeless romantic that I am at times, I am going to have to say, NO. I believe despite numerous heartbreaks and torments that there is a Mr. Right4Me. The question is, when am I going to meet him? How am I going to meet him? Is he already he...

Today I had to go to the Hallmark store to pick up the last card that I totally blanked out on! Reading through the crappy cards that were left on the shelves my son went around the corner. I didn't think much of it until I heard a big "Thump". My Son as excited and crazy as he was today ended up bringing down a display rack of 100's of cards all over the floor! What do you do? This day in age, if you raise your voice to a child, people start thinking you are abusive! But C'mon he's des...

Some of my friends have stated that I am hard to shop for, I just don't see it. I've got lots of interests and am pretty easy to please. Well, a few days ago I got an early Christmas present from a long time friend. He and I go way back and has been there through many of my crazy mistakes, okay actually accidents. This year he decided to get me something that I would defintily need. The Card read as follows: To My Stephie, Since you've just moved into the new house And don't al...

My Favorite Break-Up Lines “My other Personality, Jennifer, doesn’t like you” Only works if you can do it with a straight face… Hard to do, but not impossible, Trust Me! Most men wouldn’t even take a chance! “A friend of my just told me she likes to give blow jobs, Ewww… Isn’t that disgusting?” Brilliant! Perfect for the guy that you haven’t gone wild with! “You have to respect a guy like (Hitler, the Unabomber, Osama Bin Laden or Stalin)” This works well as long as, once ...

After a previous post, I got a reply saying I should make a detailed list of the qualities I am seeking in man. What I came up with is kind of shocking¦. Maybe I am a little on the picky side, Or just precise! 50 Things I want in a man 1. Common Sense 2. Intelligence 3. Sense of Humor 4. Will laugh at my stupid jokes 5. Opens doors 6. Likes to write 7. Have an opinion that's not mine 8. Drinks coffee 9. Can remember the punch line ...

As my son and I were listening to the radio on his way to Preschool, we got a chance to hear Comcast' commercial for the Holiday's. Comcast, promoting their Digital Cable Television service, decided to bring Santa into it. They came up with this idea that Santa doesn't come to houses that have a Satellite Dish saying that the Satellite equipment, as clunky as it is, got in the way on the roof. My 5 year old son happens to still remember the day that the DirectTv guy came to put up our n...

My Star Wars Kid, who is now 5 years old, and I moved into our new house a little over 5 months ago. Since then we have been consistently fighting a tremendous temptation that has been growing by the day. Maybe it’s because my parents never let me do it, maybe it’s because I’m still a kid at heart or maybe it’s just because I want to be a part of my son’s fun adventures while he will still let me. On the day we moved in, and all was quiet we both looked at the banister on the staircase w...

A few rationalizations that even perfect little me am guilty of: • It’s not like I’m running for ‘Saint’, or anything • Plasma Wide-Screen TVs are a lot easier on the eyes • I’m this way, because of my parents... My parents are this way, because of their parents... My son is this way, because of my parents • Everyone cheats on their taxes at some time or another • I’ve got plenty of time to improve, Picasso didn’t do his best work until he was in his 70’s • It’s not like...

Is romance dead or do you think it was just reincarnated into something less superficial? Something else? You know, instead of roses… we now get our oil changed, if we are lucky! Instead of Candle-Lit Dinners… they save us a seat on the couch next to them, or even better maybe one night a year we might not have to sleep in the wet spot! It isn’t really all such a bad thing to become so comfortable with your significant other, but why does it seem that the romantic side of most rela...

On my drive to work this morning, I was feeling particularly ridiculous, which is not at all uncommon before 10am. After my coffee stop I jump back into the car and I’m at the light when my favorite kind of bumper sticker is smack dab, right in front of me. Yes! “Honk if you HATE Noise Pollution” I’ve found that most people either don’t realize they have a ‘honk’ sticker on their bumper, or the type of people that would actually put a ‘honk’ sticker on, are just not the brightest s...
