When Bosses Change, Again
DAMN IT

Lately it seems like every time I open my email in the morning there is a new mail from someone in the company announcing a new hire.

“The explosive growth of our Team has created the opportunity to….”

Why don’t they just say what they really mean ...

“We aren’t sure what’s going on, so we decided to hire this guy to see if he can figure it out what is, so he in turn can hire someone else to do his job in 6 months and NO, you won’t be seeing a raise in years and years because of the amount of money we are spending on Management that are doing nothing but reading magazines all day”

I’m sure the new guy that is my “New Boss” could be great and bring the company into new heights but it’s becoming exhausting keeping up with the office politics. I really had a good thing going with my old boss, they didn’t get rid of him and I know he was over worked but we clicked and I respected him…. I don’t respect the new guy… I’m nice and responsive to the new guy but I don’t yet respect him and it takes a lot to earn my respect. What ever happen to the good old days when you got hired at a company and stayed at it in the same position until the guy/gal above you retired or died and then you took his/her position, kinda like an escalator everyone moved up?

The strangest thing that happens when a new boss comes into town is the whole Domino effect… and you have to sit and wonder should I choose to be one of those domino’s or am I going to be placed as one of those domino’s that’s going to fall over.

“Should I Stay or Should I Go”

At this Point I’m Opting for staying and I’m not just saying that because my ex boss ( boo hoo) will end up reading this at some point but because you never know what could happen. I really like the people I work with, they are; quality, Grade A people, except for one but I won’t get into that. If I stay I’ll be bitchy and testy but at least I’ll be with the group I like, and for the most part I’ll always find something to be bitchy or testy about. If I go I could end up somewhere even worse than a company put together with Bubble Gum, Electrical Tape, Coat Hangers and a whole bunch of new managers! Try to describe that in an interview…
