It can be as much fun as it was when you were a kid!
Tonight was a big night for my son and I. We mailed off that oh so precious and carefully planned out Christmas List to Santa, that he had been thinking about for weeks if not months now. He just turned 5, so I wrote it all out, but he insisted on putting the stamp on and carefully dropping it down the mailbox that he could barely reach. All this got me to thinking about the last time I wrote out a Christmas list and for the life of me I can’t remember so I thought what the hell. It’s my year to shine, right!?!?
Dear Santa,
I’ve been a truly great, sweet and affectionate girl this year. I haven’t made fun of anybody or giggled uncontrollably in entirely inappropriate situations all year. With my being so virtuous and angelic I think I deserve the following on my list:
1) Starbucks, (I was going to ask for a gift card, but why not get a whole store)
2) The New Coach Boots with those great Pom Pom Tassles in Black
3) A Roller Coaster Ride in the winter (no where close is open)
4) Philips Digital Photo Display
5) A professional painter to help me finish up the half-way done downstairs
6) The Purple Prada Heels I drooled over for hours at the end of the summer
7) Lego Millennium Falcon
8) Dooney and Bourke Stars Bag
9) 1980 SE Racing PK Ripper BMX
10) 3 days in the company of “The Girls”, with no mentions of our kids whatsoever!
11) Steinway Piano
12) Someone to take to bed and take to dinner (believe it or not, as cold as I may come off I want it too)
13) Palm Life Drive Mobile Manager
14) Vacation to Italy
15) 8 Extra Hours in every day
16) Roomba
17) Mounting Kit for Samsung Plasma
18) Michael Kors Lace up Boots
19) The Ability to relax
20) A new Sony Vaio
I know, I know, the list looks a little extensive. But look at it this way, I could have just asked for lots and lots of money, but what’s the fun in that.
PS. I made Homemade Cookies this year from scratch, the really good news is that I found out after living in my house for almost 6 months now that my oven does work, Yeah!
