Why do we, Should we even try?
Rationalizing Sex
After giving this some major thought, even people who consider themselves to be sexually liberated find that they are rationalizing sex. Even while creating and maintaining relationships, making babies, releasing tension, maintaining mental health, etc... are all estimable goals, and fantastic side results of sex, they are not what sex is for. Sex is for joy, bliss and that search for ecstasy, which in itself is a complete and worthwhile aspiration. We have sex because it feels sensational, and undergo a sense of pure pleasure about ourselves and our partners, should we really try to rationalize sex?
